I help people reclaim their freedom to move well and stay active, so they can keep doing the things they love. When our bodies are balanced and aligned, movement feels natural and pain-free. The more symmetrical we are, the better we function and the better we feel. I guide clients to feel more at home and at ease in their bodies by restoring posture, reducing pain, optimizing energy, and building resilience to stress. My own journey with The Egoscue Method began over 20 years ago when I was searching for relief from hip and lower back pain. The method gave me the tune-up and reset I needed, and it continues to keep me strong and well-balanced in my fifth decade of life. With a degree in Fitness Education from McGill University in Montreal and over 30 years of experience as a movement educator, fitness club manager, and yoga/wellness studio owner, I now bring that expertise into my work as owner of Egoscue Portland and our travel clinic, Mend Loft in Cannon Beach, OR. My studies with The Egoscue Method have taken me through its highest levels of certification, including: Postural Alignment Specialist (PAS), Exercise Therapy Specialist (ETS) - Levels 1 & 2, and Advanced Exercise Therapist (AET). This advanced training allows me to design highly personalized therapy programs that restore balance and symmetry to the body—so whether your goal is pain relief, improved performance, or long-term functional health, you can move and live with greater ease. I also practice what I teach by doing my own E-cises daily. While I have many favorites, I especially love relaxing in the Static Back position and often begin my mornings with Wall Drop and Wall Glides to set the tone for the day. Growing up in the Laurentians of Quebec, Canada, I was always active: swimming, windsurfing, and water skiing in the summer; alpine skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Today, you’ll often find me hiking, biking around town, or walking the beach with my husband, Ian, and our beloved Golden Retriever, Shiva. I believe we all have a playful, fun-loving kid inside who wants to stay active and enjoy life. My mission is to help you rediscover that joy by restoring your body’s balance, moving freely, and getting your bounce back. Let’s be well—and move well—together!
