I help people reclaim their freedom to move well and stay active, enjoying the things they love. When we move better, we feel better. By improving posture, reducing pain, optimizing energy, and increasing resilience to stress, I guide others to feel at home and more at ease within themselves. Growing up in the Laurentians of Quebec, Canada, I was always active, from summer days spent swimming and sailing to winter months skiing and snowshoeing. Decades of fitness training for cycling, skiing, and bodybuilding have now evolved into a focus on "friendly fitness" and posture therapy, ensuring my body stays strong and well-balanced in my fifth decade of life and beyond. You'll often find me hiking, walking on the beach with my husband Ian and our Golden Retriever Shiva, or biking around town. I discovered the Egoscue Method two decades ago while dealing with hip and lower back pain. This method gave me the tune-up and reset I was looking for. After 30 years as a movement educator, fitness club manager, and yoga/wellness studio owner, I now operate Portland Egoscue, posture therapy clinic and our travel clinic Mend Loft in Cannon Beach, OR. It's inspiring to see people rediscover the joy and freedom of living without pain. I believe we all have a fun-loving kid inside who wants to stay active and enjoy life. As adults, we can relearn how to move freely and live a vibrant, functionally fit life. Let's get our bounce back together and be well!
