Erica’s passion for functional movement began in 2010 when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease and started experiencing physical limitations & pain. She became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) in 2019 after several years of practicing to increase her strength, mobility, and mindfulness. Shortly after, she was introduced to The Egoscue Method as a client to relieve her sciatic pain but found that her pain stemming from Lyme disease also subsided. Since becoming a certified Postural Alignment Specialist in 2020, she has seen that daily functional movement can vastly change the quality of life for those in pain and become the most effective preventative practice for all. Erica believes everyone should have the tools to heal themselves, prevent pain, and achieve a more peaceful mind.
