In-Line Gluteal Contractions

How to Perform this E-cise™

  1. Stand with your feet in-line with each other so that the toes of the foot behind are touching the heel of the foot in front.
    • If your menu directs you to do so, stand with 2-3 inches between the toes of your back foot and heel of your front foot.
    • It is very important that your feet remain pointed straight ahead through out the e-cise.
  2. In this position, squeeze and release your buttocks muscles, keeping your thighs and stomach muscles relaxed.
  3. Repeat as directed on your menu.
  4. Switch sides and repeat.

Fun Facts

Promotes lateral hip stability in a vertically loaded position.
